Università di Corsica Pasquale Paoli: Miñan

On 6 June 2025, the play Miñan will be performed at the Pasquale Paoli University theatre in Corsica. The adaptation of the book by Amets Arzallus and Ibrahima Balde will be performed in Basque with subtitles in Corsican.

The ‘Ça colle au basque’ project aims to promote Basque culture in French-speaking countries. In this case, to promote Basque theatre beyond the regions where Euskara is spoken, the Etxepare Basque Institute will sponsor the play Miñan by the theatre company Artedrama in the Corsican city of Corti.

Miñan

Miñan (little brother) is the chronicle of Ibrahima Balde´s migratory journey, narrated in the first person by Amets Arzallus and adapted for the theatre by Artedrama. It tells the compelling story of Balde’s journey from Africa to Europe, sharing his experiences along the way.
