We already know the semi-finalists for the Independent Music Awards

After the popular voting period, we already know the list of semi-finalists for the Independent Music Awards. 30 groups have been selected at each category among the 873 registered. The finalists will be anounced on March 15, and the winners at the Awards ceremony on Mach 28.  this voting process will classify the semi-finalists among the 873 artists.

Once again, the  Etxepare Basque Institute will support the Etxepare Award for the Best Album in Euskera, and the candidates are: Gatibu, Kepa Junkera eta Sorginak, Vendetta, Zea Mays, Hesian, Izaro, Niña Coyote eta Chico Tornado, Xabi Solano, Ruper Ordorika, Willis Drummond, Baobabs will destroy your planet, Liher, Gari& Maldanbera, Joseba B. Lenoir, Lauroba eta Petti & Etxeko Uzta.

But this is not the only Basque representation at the #PremiosMin: groups like  Belako, Gatillazo or Kaotiko will also take part in different categories of the 22 that the organization rewards.

In this 9th edition they wanted to promote a greater participation of the audience, through the voting process. So, in a first phase, a popular vote has take place, in which the audience has determined the 30 semi-finalists of each category among all the artists registered. In a following phase, a professional jury will be in charge of choosing the nominees. The names of the winners will be unveiled at the awards ceremony to be held on Tuesday, March 28 at the Nuevo Apolo Theatre in Madrid.

The MIN Awards were born in 2009 with the aim of recognizing the artistic creation, cultural diversity, the new talent and the quality of the productions published by the musical SMEs at the state level, as well as to promote the independent music.
