A journey through Basque language and the film Amama, at the new readership of Havana

The new readership of the Etxepare Basque Institute in Havana opened on November 22 with the beginning of the course ´History of the Basque language´. But the readership has also planned several parallel activities: the literary critic and teacher of the UPV-EHU Mari Jose Olaziregi will offer a conference tomorrow, December 15; also, the film Amama (Asier Altuna, 2015) will be screened in the framework of the Cinema Cycle that the readership is organizing.

Olaziregi, who until November has served as Director for the Promotion and Dissemination of the Basque Language of the Etxepare Institute, will talk on Basque literature to welcome the new readership, with the presentation ´A journey through Basque language and literature´. The event will be held in the Faculty of Humanities.
On the other hand, the film Amama will be screened on Monday. The actor Ander Lipus will attend the presentation and after the screening he will have the opportunity to discuss with the audience.
