On one hand, the Institute has a space on the stand organized by the Basque Language Publishers Association  and the “Gremio de Editores de Euskadi” (Publishers Association from Euskadi), for the dissemination of the books about Basque Culture of the Etxepare.

On the other hand, the director for the Promotion and Dissemination of the Basque language, Mari Jose Olaziregi, talked about the internationalization of Basque literature in the roundtable "National Literatures Revisited", organized by the Department of Education, Culture and Language Policy of the Basque Government and the “Gremio de Editores de Euskadi” together with various Finnish and Swiss cultural organizations.

The current influence of the Basque language and the effort that has been made in the Basque Country to recover it, have created great interest among both participants and the audience, and the situation of the Basque language was the main issue in most of the questions from the audience.  Joxean Muñoz, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Basque Government, Clara Montero, Director of Promotion of Culture, and the directors of the two organizations dedicated to the Basque edition, Jesús Mari Mujika and Andrés Fernández attended the event.
