Applications open to perform at M pour Montréal showcase

This year’s M pour Montréal music festival will be held from 18 to 21 November. The call for entries is now open to musicians from the Basque Country.

The artistic and programming team of the M pour Montréal festival will select two musical acts, each to perform a showcase.

In addition to the showcases, the music fair will also host activities geared to industry professionals.  

BASQUE. MUSIC. will cover travel, accommodation and meal expenses for the selected musicians. It will also payment for their performance in accordance with the terms and conditions set out by BASQUE. MUSIC. 2026.

Eligibility depends on meeting all criteria and conditions.

The M pour Montréal festival will provide the basic backline needed by the artists for their showcase performances.

This collaboration between BASQUE. MUSIC. and M pour Montréal builds on a partnership launched in 2025 by the Etxepare Basque Institute as part of the Ça colle au Basque initiative. From that first collaboration, Verde Prato and Olaia Inziarte were selected to take part in M pour Montréal.
