Basque performing arts, back in TAC Valladolid

The 19th edition of the Valladolid International Street Theater and Arts Festival, TAC, has been will be held from May 19 to 27. And once again the Basque performing arts will be present in Valladolid: Basque companies will perform at TAC with support from the Etxepare Basque Institute, and a stand will be set up to showcase Basque creation.

The 19th edition of the Valladolid International Street Theater and Arts Festival, TAC, has been will be held from May 19 to 27. And once again the Basque performing arts will be present in Valladolid: Basque companies will perform at TAC with support from the Etxepare Basque Institute, and a stand will be set up to showcase Basque creation.

This year three companies will perform at the event, which functions as both a festival and a fair: Kukai Dantza Taldea, with the show Erritu (May 25-26); Iñaki Mata, with Welcome (May 25-26); and Trapu Zaharra, with Sefini (May 24-25).

Participation in TAC is a way to shine a light on different companies, opening new doors and opportunities for the future. Over the last 13 years, Basque companies have given more than 40 shows of all types (theater, dance, circus, musicals, installations, itinerant shows...).
