Basque theatre company Deabru Beltzak at the 375th anniversary of the city of Montreal

The Basque street theatre company Deabru Beltzak will be in Montreal, Canada, from July 19 to 24, participating in the activities to mark the 375th anniversary of the city. Every day they will perform the street show Les Tambours de Feu, starting from Rue Saint-Denis.

The latest production by Deabru Beltzak is a mixture of live music, pyrotechnics and special effects. With one hand on the drum – and the other in provocation – the company lights up the streets with the sound of their drums. Deabru Beltzak was founded in 1996 by actors from different Basque theatre companies and has created 10 shows since then.
