BIME PRO 2020: Basque. Music.

BIME PRO, the largest international meeting of music professionals, starts today and runs until October 29th. The current health crisis means that this year’s meeting will be a hybrid of in-person (Euskalduna Conference Centre) and online (bime.net).

BIME PRO serves as a tool for the dissemination and internationalization of the Basque music industry. To this end, Musika Bulegoa has prepared several activities with the aim of facilitating dialogue between sector stakeholders, sharing knowledge and promoting music created and produced in the Basque Country. These activities will be carried out under the Basque.Music. platform.

For the two days of BIME PRO, Basque.Music. will have its own stand at the fair for Basque professionals show their work to other professionals.

11:00 Panel: Live Arts living with COVID-19 (in collaboration with MIE Elkartea)

13:30 Meeting: Meet the Basque Festivals. The Bay of Biscay Festival, Atlantikaldia and the Vitoria-Gasteiz Jazz Festival will present their events.

18:00 Basque Music welcome cocktail.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 29th

13:00 Panel: Concert Venues and COVID-19 (In collaboration with Kultura Live, BIME and Live DMA)

17:30 Meet the Basques. Meeting addressed to the professionals of the Basque Country.

20:00 Showcase: Verde Prato, Bulego and Dupla (as part of the BIME CITY programme and on the initiative of Basque Music)
