Call open for an artistic residency at Hospitalfield and Glasgow Sculpture Studios in Scotland

A call has been launched for an artistic residency at the centers Hospitalfield and Glasgow Sculpture Studios in Scotland, within the framework of the collaboration programme between Tabakalera, the British Council and the Etxepare Basque Institute.
The call is aimed at artists working in the Basque Country who wish to explore new artistic contexts in Scotland and expand their practice in this environment.
The residency will last four weeks and will provide the selected artist with space, context, and time to develop their project. It will take place between August 31st and September 28, 2026, and will be divided into two phases: the first two weeks will take place at the Hospitalfield creative center in Arbroath (August 31 through September 14), and the second two weeks at the Glasgow Sculpture Studios production center in Glasgow (September 14-28).
One candidate will be selected from all applications.
The deadline for submitting applications is 1 June 2026, 12:00 p.m.
