Call for entries for international music fairs and events now open

Two calls for entries aimed at the Basque music industry have just been launched. The first is to encourage participation in the fifth edition of the BIME Bogotá music fair for industry professionals, and the second to take part in the 2026 Dantz Network Congress, an international electronic music event.
BIME Bogotá
BASQUE. MUSIC. and BIME have issued a call for Basque bands or solo artists to participate in the fifth BIME Bogotá professional music fair. To apply, please complete the corresponding form by by 19 January 2026.
The Basque group or solo artist to perform at the showcase will be selected by BIME PRO. Once the decision has been made, BASQUE. MUSIC. will be in charge of publicising the event.
Additionally, the selected artist or group will get the chance to participate in all three days of the conference and connect with professionals from various sectors of the international music industry.
The selected act will perform a showcase as part of BIME Bogotá, to be held in Bogotá (Colombia) from 5 to 7 May 2026.
Through BASQUE.MUSIC., a budget allocation will be provided to cover the costs associated with staging this concert.
In addition to performing in the showcases, the band will be able to benefit from accreditations granting access to the professional programme (a maximum of four accreditations per selected project) and will take part in a BIME co-creation session. Airport–hotel transfers (round trip), hotel–concert venue transfers (round trip), and hotel–recording studio transfers (round trip) will also be provided.

Dantz Network Congress
The second edition of the Dantz Network Congress, an international conference focused on the electronic and avant-garde music industry, will be held in Donostia / San Sebastián from 4 to 7 March 2026. The talks, round tables and networking activities will take place at the Kursaal Conference Centre and Auditorium, drawing in international industry experts.
From 6 to 7 March, the Dantz Stage tent will be set up in Donostia´s Sagüés neighbourhood, where a festival will feature top international artists.
The Dantz Network Congress will include an extensive range of professional activities: conferences, expert panels, workshops, networking sessions and cutting-edge sound experiences in electronic music.
In collaboration with Dantz, BASQUE. MUSIC. has launched a call for three artists from the Basque Country (producers, composers, musicians or DJs) to join the Dantz Network Congress.
Successful submissions will have the chance to present their work to international professionals during pitch sessions, engage in meetings during speed networking sessions, and take part in the BASQUE. MUSIC. showcase on 5 March. One of the three selected artists will also have the chance to participate in an international Dantz Point event to be held in 2026.
During the three-day professional conference, the selected participants will be able to attend as accredited guests, networking and establishing contacts with professionals from all areas of the cultural and creative industries.
To enter the competition, the form must be submitted by 19 January 2026. Dantz will be responsible for selecting the three artists. The criteria for supporting the artists selected to participate in the BASQUE. MUSIC. showcases can be found in the relevant document.

BASQUE. MUSIC. is a platform dedicated to promoting the international presence of the Basque Country´s music scene and industry. It is a public–private initiative spearheaded by the Basque Government, the Etxepare Basque Institute and Musika Bulegoa.
