dFERIA 2024: Metamorphosis Dance

‘Rhapsody in Blue’, the latest creation by Iratxe Ansa and Igor Bacovich of Metamorphosis Dance, is set to inaugurate the 30th San Sebastian Performing Arts Fair dFERIA. The performance is scheduled for 10th March at 7pm at the Victoria Eugenia Theatre in Donostia.

Choreographers Iratxe Ansa and Igor Bacovich (Metamorphosis Dance) will bring their latest creation, titled ´Rhapsody in Blue´, to San Sebastián. The show is a co-production between Fondazione Nazionale della Danza and Fondazione Teatro Regio di Parma, with collaboration from the Etxepare Basque Institute. The choreography is performed by the dancers of the Aterballetto company and was premiered at the Teatro Regio di Parma in February, with support from the Etxepare Basque Institute.

The Centro Coreografico Nazionale / Aterballetto is made up of 16 exceptional talented dancers adept at interpreting diverse styles, which has garnered them global acclaim. Considered Italy’s leading contemporary dance company and the country’s main permanent institution for ballet production, the company presents a programme at dFERIA consisting of three pieces: ´Yeled´, ´Shoot Me´ and ´Rhapsody in Blue´ (Metamorphosis Dance).
