The Festival of the European Short Story takes place in Zagreb and another Croatian city, this time Rijeka. In addition to being a meeting point for short stories, it is also a showcase for other festivals. Its aim is simple – to celebrate the work of contemporary short story writers from across Europe, and to help readers find and enjoy their work.
