Freie Universität Berlin: Uxue Alberdi, Eñaut Elorrieta

The Freie Universität Berlin’s Basque lectureship, in collaboration with the Euskal Etxea Basque centre in Berlin together with Catalan and Galician language assistants, has organised a conference ¡Pensa, rima, bota! (Think, rhyme, throw!). The event will take place on 1 and 2 July at the Freie Universität in Berlin.

The conference will focus on oral literature and improvised singing, with the participation of bertsolari Uxue Alberdi and composer Eñaut Elorrieta, among others. Uxue Alberdi will participate in an improvised singing workshop and a round table discussion on the role of women in oral literature, and Eñaut Elorrieta will offer a musical performance.
