HanHemen connects the global Basque community

HanHemen is a global digital platform designed to connect Basques around the world. Launched by the Basque Government, the project is a social network aimed at exchanging information and resources among participants, and to learn about and share the experiences of Basques in the international community.

HanHemen is the place to share projects, events, and emotions. The application is based on the ethical and sustainable use of people´s interconnectivity and operates as an open, participatory ecosystem, a living, interactive dynamic space set up to listen to the Basque diaspora.

In January, HanHemen launched a questionnaire to gather opinions from the Basque diaspora. The website is now ready to be shared with the world. Social media platforms, such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, are also available to learn about the project.
