Kirmen Uribe, in different festivals and universities of England, with the writer Jesus Carrasco

Basque writer Kirmen Uribe will participate in different events through England, along with the writer Jesus Carrasco, with the support of the Etxepare Basque Institute and the Cervantes Institute, from 10 to 15 October. They will offer lectures in different universities and literary festivals such as London Literature Festival or Ilkley Literature Festival.

On October 10, both writers will attend the London Literature Festival, at South Centre, to offer the talk "Evolutionaries and Runaways", moderated by the BBC Radio 4 presenter Razia Iqbal. On October 11, on the other hand, they will attend the Ilkley Literature Festival, with Alexandra Büchler as moderator. Also during the festival, both authors will be signing books.

On the 12th, Uribe and Carrasco will travel to Leeds University to offer a presentation, with the help of Professor Javier Lopez Alós. The following day, they´ll be at the Instituto Cervantes of Manchester within the Manchester Literature Festival, with Mariana Casale O´Ryan as moderator.

Finally, both writers will attend Aston University, and the following day, Kirmen Uribe will be in University of Birminhamwith the help of reader of Basque Language and Culture Ira Ortigosa.
