Korrika contest: vote for your favorite video!

The 21st edition of Korrika will travel the Basque roads between April 4 and 14, from Vitoria-Gasteiz to Gares, in favour of the Basque language. As in recent years, the Korrika torch will travel around the world.

The 21st edition of Korrika will travel the Basque roads between April 4 and 14, from Vitoria-Gasteiz to Gares, in favour of the Basque language. As in recent years, the Korrika torch will travel around the world.

The AEK federation of Basque schools and the Etxepare Basque Institute will organize  ‘mini Korrikas’ and special programs in several Basque Centers and universities.

A video contest will once again be organized and is in fact already underway. Students from all over the world have sent us their videos with messages in favour of Euskera. You can vote for your favorite by clicking on the AEK YouTube channel.

The two videos with the most "likes" – one from each category – will be the winners. The categories are videos sent from the Basque Centers around the world and videos sent from the readerships at international universities. The winning video-makers will be given free residency at a barnetegi (a full-immersion school and house where students live and breathe in Basque). It’s the perfect opportunity to learn Euskera and gain first-hand insight on Basque culture.
