The 63rd Krakow Film Festival will run this year from 28 May to 4 June. Krakow Film Festival is one of the oldest events in the world dedicated to documentary, animated and short feature films. Its core consists of three competitions of equal rank: documentary film competition, short film competition and national competition: documentary film competition, short film competition and national competition. Throughout the eight days of the festival, viewers will have the opportunity to enjoy a diverse selection of around 250 films from Poland and around the world.

This year, two Basque films will be included in the festival’s ‘Focus on Spain’ non-competitive section. This is the result of an agreement between the Etxepare Basque Institute and the festival aimed at ensuring the vibrant presence of Basque cinema at the Krakow Film Festival.
