Kukai, Ertza and Amaia Elizaran on show in Tenerife

Through 15 July, Tenerife will host the South Atlantic Performing Arts Market (MAPAS), an event that gathers together over 170 performing arts programmers from around the world and more than 220 shows.
Through 15 July, Tenerife (Canary Islands) will host the South Atlantic Performing Arts Market (MAPAS), an event that gathers together over 170 performing arts programmers from around the world and more than 220 shows.
After taking part in dFeria, the San Sebastian performing arts market, three Basque companies will present their most recent work at MAPAS: Meeting Point, Ertza (12 July); Topa, Kukai Dantza (13 July) and Block and Pool, Amaia Elizaran (14 July).
The shows are part of dFeria Abroad, an initiative supported by the Etxepare Basque Institute aimed at promoting Basque performing arts, multi-cultural exchange and mixing different types of artistic expression.
In this regard, dFeria will also work with the Festival Cervantino in Montevideo and the Brasilia International Festival.
