Basques will once again be at Fira Tàrrega, the international performing arts fair organized every year in Catalonia since 1981. This year, the fair will be held from September 6 to 9 and will include Lasala, a Basque contemporary dance company that will present two short pieces: Microclimate and Female

Since 2013, Lasala has been working towards creating a physical language with a modern feel. They have always garnered awards at international festivals. The two shows that will be presented at the fair invite the audience to watch and listen through the echoes of emotion. The first, "Microclimate", reflects on the common world and the micro-worlds that each of us generates in our environment through personal atmospheric patterns and processes. The second piece, "Female", takes us to a feminine universe.

The Basque presence will not be limited to Lasala. As in past years, the Basque Government will have a stand to showcase the Basque performing arts scene and will be available to the sector to answer any questions during the fair.

Fira Tarrega is a gathering place and international reference for debate. The main objective of the Fira is to revitalize the performing arts market, and help companies raise their international presence.
