London Spanish Film Festival: Erase una vez en Euskadi, Maixabel, Heltzear and Trumoiak

The London Spanish Film Festival opens a window onto Basque cinema at the Riverside Studios and Ciné Lumière cinemas in London from September 22nd to 29th. Four Basque films, including two feature films and two short films will be screen. ‘Erase una vez en Euskadi’ (Once upon a time in the Basque Country), ´Maixabel´, ´Heltzear´ and ´Trumoiak´ are the titles selected for this year´s festival.

This is the 13th edition of the Basque Window section of the London Spanish Film Festival. ‘Erase una vez en Euskadi´, directed by Manu Gómez, will be shown on the 25th at 6:40pm at Ciné Lumière, following the short film ´Heltzear´ directed by Mikel Gurrea. ´Maixabel´ will be shown on September 28th at Riverside Studios at 6pm, with director Icíar Bollaín to present her film and take questions from the audience. On September 24th, ´Trumoiak´ will be shown at 8:40pm, followed by film ´Papá o mamá´.
