Mikel Ayerbe offered a master class at the University of Leipzig

Yesterday, December 19, the doctor in Basque Literature and professor at the UPV Mikel Ayerbe offered a master class at the University of Leipzigwithin the Basque Language and Culture readership of the Etxepare Basque Institute at the university. Taking as reference his thesis "Contemporary Basque literature in the light of Genetic Criticism: analysis of the creative processes in the texts of Aresti, Sarrionandia, Saizarbitoria and Atxaga", he summarized the conclusions of his research.

Yesterday, December 19, the doctor in Basque Literature and professor at the UPV Mikel Ayerbe offered a master class at the University of Leipzig, within the Basque Language and Culture readership of the Etxepare Basque Institute at the university. Taking as reference his thesis "Contemporary Basque literature in the light of Genetic Criticism: analysis of the creative processes in the texts of Aresti, Sarrionandia, Saizarbitoria and Atxaga", he summarized the conclusions of his research.

Starting from the concepts of genesis and writing process, Ayerbe emphasized the resources offered by the analysis of the prologues for the interpretation of the artistic reflection, artistic tendencies and poetics of the previously mentioned authors.

This master class has ended the program of the readership of Leipzig in 2016. The activities of 2017 will begin on January 12 with a talk by the translator and professor of the UPV Naroa Zubillaga.
