From November 20 to 22, the 17th edition of the Monkey Week Festival will take place in El Puerto de Santa María.
Monkey Week is a unique urban festival that brings together emerging artists, industry professionals, and audiences in a vibrant cultural setting. Held in Andalusia, it is a key platform for discovering new talents in independent music, both nationally and internationally. The festival offers concerts, showcases, and various activities in historic venues, becoming a meeting point for the music industry. Its innovative format makes it one of the most influential festivals on the scene.
It is a must-attend event on the independent music calendar, where once again Basque music will take the stage thanks to the showcases organized by the BASQUE. MUSIC. platform. Indeed, Basque bands Euskoprincess and TOC will each offer a showcase during the festival, presented by BASQUE. MUSIC.
BASQUE. MUSIC. is a platform created to promote the internationalisation of the music industry in the Basque Country. It serves as a tool for promoting creators, musicians, record labels, as well as management and booking companies in professional markets and festivals worldwide. BASQUE. MUSIC is made up of Musika Bulegoa, the Etxepare Basque Institute, and the Basque Government.
