The Musika Bulegoa Sariak Awards 2018 were announced on Monday at a ceremony held at the Baluarte Congress Centre and Auditorium in Pamplona at 7 p.m. The artists received their awards and extended words of gratitude. Several artists gave live performances to liven up the evening.

The Musika Bulegoa Sariak Awards 2018 were announced on Monday at a ceremony held at the Baluarte Congress Centre and Auditorium in Pamplona at 7 p.m. The artists received their awards and extended words of gratitude. Several artists gave live performances to liven up the evening.

The winning artists at this year’s event, organized for the 3rd time by EHMBE, are: Atom Rhumba for their album Cosmic Lexikon; Tosta Banda for their project Tosta; Izaro for her album Eason; Elkano Browning Cream for their album Bor Bor; and composer Gabriel Erkoreka for his work Carta Blanca. In addition, the Special Musika Bulegoa Award went to Juan Mari Beltrán for his project Soinuenea – Herri Musikaren txokoa. Finally, the Etxepare Basque Institute Music Award went to the band Kalakan for bringing their music and Basque tradition to international audiences.

The ceremony also included short performances by Izaro, Elkano Browning Cream and Broken Brothers Brass Band.
