Teatro Mayor Julio Santo Domingo 2024: Alos Quartet

Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo in Bogota, Colombia, will showcase ‘Lau’ performed by the dance company Alos Quartet, as part of the collaboration with the Etxepare Basque Institute. Each year Teatro Mayor offers a window onto Basque creation under the title ´Ventana Vasca´.

The performances will take place on 8 August at 20:00 (GMT -5), in the Teatro Estudio hall.

The string quartet Alos Quartet will present a concert with their most significant original works from their 25 years of musical career. A retrospective tour of the mark the group has left on the chamber music repertoire.

Ventana Vasca

For the second year in a row, Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo, has organised, ´Ventana Vasca´, a special programme in collaboration with the Etxepare Basque Institute. Through this project, the public in Bogotá will be able to discover Basque creation in the coming months and enjoy the music, dance and theatre produced in the Basque Country at one of the leading theatres in Colombia’s capital.
