Transilvania International Film Festival: three Basque films in Romania

Three Basque films will be screened in the Romanian region of Transylvania at the end of July thanks to a collaboration agreement between Etxepare Euskal Institutua and the Transilvania International Film Festival, with the help of the San Sebastián International Film Festival. This window to Basque cinema will show internationally ´Ane´ by David P. Sañudo, ´Hil kanpaiak´ by Imanol Rayo and ´Arzak since 1827´, directed by Asier Altuna, between the next 24 and 28 July.

The film ‘Ane is missing’, a production by Amania Films that has received several awards, will be screened on Friday, July 23 at 6:15 pm and on July 28 at 12:00 noon. On the other hand, ‘Arzak since 1827’ will be exhibited on Wednesday 28 and attendees will be able to enjoy after a dinner prepared by a Romanian chef. It can also be seen the following day, at 3:45 pm.

As for the third film, ‘Hil kanpaiak’ or ‘Chimes to death’, it will be screened on July 24 and 26, at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. respectively.

In addition, the directors Asier Altuna and David Pérez Sañudo will be present at the festival to present their works.
