The public research university located in the city of La Plata, Universidad Nacional de La Plata, will host a talk on the evolution of Basque gastronomy on 30 June, with support from the Etxepare Basque Institute. Entitled MAMIA: Evolución de la Gastronomía Vasca. The talk will be led by Itziar Aguirre.
Basque-Argentinian chef Itziar Aguirre will host the discussion as part of the Basque language and culture programme at the University of La Plata.
In a related event, a pintxo contest will be held on 4 July at the Euskal Etxea Basque centre in La Plata.
