WOMEX 2025: Basque. Music.

Womex, the most important meeting for the professional music players of all around the world, will be held on-site in Tampere (Finland) from the 22nd to the 26th of October.

In this festival these groups are going to participate: more than 2600 professionals of 90 countries in 7 scenarios, exhibitions of 700 organizations, more than 100 speakers, films, an opening concert and an awards ceremony, among others.

This year, artist Maite Larburu will participate in the showcase organized in the festival Basque. Music. on the 23rdth of October, in the offWOMEX STAGE (Olympia).

There, Basque music will be present on the stand Basque. Music. and the international artists will also diffuse it with the catalogue Basque. Music. 2025. The purpose of the platform Basque. Music. is to internationalize Basque music. The promotors are Musika Bulegoa, Etxepare Euskal Institutua and the Basque Government.
