After Bilbao-New York-Bilbao (2008) –National Literatura Prize 2009 (Spain)- and Lo que mueve el mundo (2013), Uribe, one of the best known Basque-language authors, tells the story of musician Txomin Letamendi, who worked as a secret agent for the Allies during WWII, and his wife Karmele Urresti.

The second edition of Hay Festival Arequipa will host over 100 guests from 15 countries –including names such as Alessandro Baricco, David Foenkinos, Héctor Abad Facionlince, Alfredo Bryce Echenique, Jody Williams or Gaston Acurio- who will participate in talks, readings, conferences, film screenings and workshops.

In order to promote Basque literature, every year Basque writers participate at some of the Hay Festivals held around the world –Hay-On-Wye (Wales), Cartagena (Colombia), Arequipa (Peru), Queretaro (Mexico), etc. - thanks to the agreement between Etxepar Basque Institute and Hay Festival.
