Deabru Beltzak: Su Talka Tour 2025

Kertsaint-Plabennec, in Bretagne, France, will be the venue for the premiere of the new show ´Su Talka´ by the street theatre group Deabru Beltzak on 7 June.
This tour is part of the ‘Ça colle au Basque’ project, which aims to promote and encourage the Basque language and culture in French-speaking countries.
Deabru Beltzak has completed two week-long artists´ residencies to prepare their new piece: from 24 May to 1 June in Garges-lès-Gonesse, Paris, and from 2 to 6 June at “Leforneau: cente national des arts de la rue centre” in Brest. During their residencies, they had the opportunity to immerse themselves in their new creation.
On 7 June, Su Talka will be performed in the streets of Kertsaint-Plabennec.
From 7 June to 7 December, the Deabru Beltzak theatre group will tour France, bringing Basque theatre to different parts of the country. On July 13, August 7, 8, 9, 12 and 13, September 20, 25 and 27 and December 5 and 6 the theater group can be seen in the streets of France.
Deabru Beltzak
This street theatre group was formed in 1996 by actors from various professional theatre groups in the Basque Country. Since then, they’ve created 10 plays, performed over 3,000 times, and organised 80 special events and 50 urban celebrations. They’ve also worked with more than 35 theatre companies from around the world.
