Eight artists from the Basque Country nominated for MIN Awards

The nominees for the 2026 MIN Awards have now been announced. This year, five Basque artists are vying for Best Album in Basque, with Basque music also featured prominently in four additional categories.
This year, the MIN Awards will be presented on 25 March in Córdoba. The aim of this competition is to recognise the creativity, diversity and artistic quality of independent productions made in Spain.
Here are the Basque Country artists nominated for the MIN awards and the categories they’re up for:

MIN Awards
The MIN Awards, run by Spain’s independent music companies group Unión Fonográfica Independiente (UFI) since 2009, are celebrating the 18th edition this year. The MINs recognise the creativity, diversity and artistic quality of independent productions made in Spain. The awards aim to shine a spotlight on the talent and work coming from small and medium-sized record labels and to promote independent music both nationally and internationally.
To celebrate the diversity, talent, and innovation of independent music, this year´s awards ceremony will take place on 25 March in Córdoba. The event, which will bring together artists, record labels and industry professionals, will be hosted by Tamara García and Masi Rodríguez.
