Marte Lasarte, at BIME Bogotá presented by BASQUE.MUSIC.

Marte Lasarte will perform at the next edition of BIME Bogotá, held from 5 to 7 May 2026, with a showcase organised by the BASQUE. MUSIC. platform.

The international music industry gathering, which began fourteen years ago in Bilbao, will be held in South America for the fifth consecutive year this May.

After more than 15 years together in Skakeitan, Borja Antón and Pello Armendáriz in joined forces again in 2023 to create Marte Lasarte. After recording their first songs, in 2024 they released the singles “Basamortua” and “Marte Lasarte”. During this phase, they expanded the band with the addition of Lore Nekane Billelabeitia (Belako) and Alex Alonso (Skakeitan, ETS, Tierra Santa, La Oreja de Van Gogh, Gari…). That same year, they released their debut album, “Ez da besterik”. In 2025, they took part in BIME Bilbao alongside BASQUE.MUSIC., and in 2026 they’ll tour as part of Artistas en Ruta (Artists on the Road). Their most recent release, “Errepide”, features Sia Lua.

In 2024, BIME Bogotá brought together 2,200 professionals from 25 countries, representing 1,000 companies in the music industry. Over 5,000 people attended the showcases and concerts organised across the city.

BASQUE. MUSIC is the platform dedicated to promoting the internationalisation of the Basque Country’s music scene and industry. It is a public-private initiative organised jointly by the Basque Government, the Etxepare Basque Institute and Musika Bulegoa.
