The Annecy International Animation Film Festival, one of the most important events in the animation industry, will be held from June 8 to 14, with MIFA, the festival’s Animation Film Market, running from June 10 to 13. The French city will welcome leading professionals from the world of international animation, both at the festival itself and at MIFA. Once again, the Basque audiovisual industry will be represented by BASQUE. AUDIOVISUAL.

As part of the animation festival, a special event entitled ´Women in Animation from Spain´ will take place on 12 June. Organised by ICEX and ICAA, the event celebrates the creativity, leadership and vision of women in animation. Five projects have been announced for the fourth edition of the event, two of which are from the Basque Country.
