With ‘Adiorik ez’ (original title: Ni flores, ni funeral, ni cenizas, ni tantán / No flowers, no funeral, no ashes, no fuss), the La Dramática Errante theatre company returns to Madrid´s Teatro de La Abadía following the success of ‘Altsasu’. Playwright María Goiricelaya will stage an intimate and shared reflection on death, grief, and ‘dying well,’ focusing on palliative care and the people who accompany the dying in their final moments.

This work, blending humour, emotion, and social awareness, invites us to view the end of life with humanity and tenderness instead of fear. It is a tribute to all those who have accompanied us and, at the same time, a celebration of life.

Written by María Goiricelaya as part of the National Drama Centre´s Drama Residencies programme for the 2021-2022 season.

‘Adiorik ez’

A father and daughter journey together along the Camino de Santiago, where one of Europe’s oldest routes becomes a crossroads of diverse characters and stories. Through these encounters, the play invites the audience to reflect on death, loss, and end-of-life care, honouring the memory of those who have passed and embracing those who stood by their side.

La Dramática Errante

La Dramática Errante theatre company is a project promoted by María Goiricelaya and Ane Pikaza, aimed at bringing socially relevant issues to the stage. Their work combines a critical eye, social commitment and contemporary theatrical language, using humour and emotion as their main tools. The company views theatre as a space for reflection and dialogue and, in recent years, has gained notable success with both audiences and critics through productions like ‘Altsasu’, among others.
