Uxue Alberdi at FILBA Internacional 2026 in Buenos Aires

Writer and bertsolari Uxue Alberdi will take part in FILBA Internacional 2026 in Buenos Aires, held from 1 to 4 October. Her festival programme will begin on 30 September with the opening event at MALBA. Her participation is supported by Etxepare Basque Institute.

One of the prominent voices in contemporary Basque literature, Alberdi will take part in three public events exploring literature, language, territory and contemporary creation.

Uxue Alberdi will join the other invited writers for FILBA’s opening event. Starting from the question “What does it mean to inhabit the world today?”, the festival participants will create a collective textual and vocal fabric. An evening combining readings, conversation, live music and celebration. Uxue Alberdi will take part in the reading session alongside Lalo Barrubia. The programme will also feature a conversation with Lucía Lijtmaer, Tamara Tenenbaum and Mafe Moscoso, moderated by Eugenia Zicavo, with music by Loli Molina.
