The MALBA Writers´ Residency celebrates its seventh edition this year and, for the first time, the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA) will host a writer working in Basque, thanks to its collaboration with Etxepare Basque Institute.

Writer Beñat Sarasola will undertake a five-week residency in Buenos Aires. During his stay, he will have the opportunity to engage with the city´s cultural scene and build professional connections with the other guest writers selected by MALBA, as well as with the museum´s cultural team and local publishers. The residency aims to foster creative exchange and strengthen professional networks. Alongside Sarasola, MALBA has selected four other writers who will develop their own literary projects during the residency: Benoît Coquil (Brest, 1989), Diego Zúñiga (Iquique, 1987), Mayte Gómez Molina (Madrid, 1993) and Riccardo Frolloni (Macerata, 1993).
