Registrations are open for Euskaraldia 2020!
Euskaraldia is an exercise aimed at changing the linguistic behaviour of people who understand Basque. The two-week-long exercise encompasses all areas of society and its main objective is to increase the use of the Basque language by changing the linguistic habits of our citizens.

Basque Cinema in the Oscar running
The Spanish Film Academy has announced three films to vie for the nomination for Best Foreign Language Film at the 93rd Academy Awards (The Oscars). Two out of three are Basque: The Endless Trench (La trinchera infinita) by Aitor Arregi, Jon Garaño and José Mari Goenaga, and The Platform (El hoyo) by Galder Gaztelu Urrutia.

How to teach Basque language and culture through the perspective of diversity
On July 8 and 9, the 10th edition of the ‘Bikaintasuna Euskal Ikasketetan’ (´Excellence in Basque Studies´) summer course was held at the Miramar Palace in Donostia. Barnetegis join the move online
Every year people from around the world come to the Basque Country to learn Euskara at live-in Basque immersion schools called barnetegis.
