Manel Rodríguez-Castelló and Ediciones Contrabando awarded the Etxepare – LABORAL Kutxa Translation Prize 2025
´Glosak·Glossar el Món´ is a selection of poems written by author Tere Irastortza between 1980 and 2023. The book was published last year by the Valencia-based publishing house Ediciones Contrabando in a bilingual Catalan–Basque edition, with translation by Manel Rodríguez-Castelló.

Euskara Munduan organises winter ‘barnetegi’ in Necochea
In January 2025, the Euskara Munduan programme, run by the Etxepare Basque Institute, organised a barnetigi Basque language immersion course at the Villa María Euskal Etxea in Córdoba, Argentina. This summer, from 19 to 26 July the city of Necochea, Argentina, hosted a barnetegi at the Euzko Etxea.
